Dj Mac supports Volta Showbiz/Media industry with Dj Mac Challenge

Published

on

Two winners, Randy Edudzi Ahadzi – Global FM Morning Show host in Ho and DJ Stephen, drive time show host on Shine FM in Akatsi – southern Volta have already walked away with GHS 1,000.00 each since the challenge began last month.

DJ Mac is a professional Disk Jockey and Cyber Security Engineer based in the United States of America.
Known in real life as Kossi Azoumaro, DJ Mac grew up in 2 neighbouring countries; Togo and Ghana. At age of 16, he knew how to handle the turntable perfectly and was playing at parties and funerals.

Within the last 25 years, DJ MAC worked at Radio Lomé, Volta Premier FM in Ho, Ghana Broadcasting Corporation (GBC) in Tamale before relocating to the USA.

DJ Mac holds a Professional Certificate in Computer Systems Security and has worked for the International Monetary Fund (IMF), the US government and owns a cyber security company TeksPros.

According to the IT Guru who now runs his online shows as a hobby and also as his little contribution to the growth of the media industry back home, he was looking out for ways he could support his “fellow” practitioners in the Volta Region since the Covid-19 came and since he cannot support every single person working in the industry, he decided to throw a challenge which will  help in selecting a few deserving persons to merit cushioning.

He then came up with Dj Mac Challenge, a social media challenge where four or more industry players put in a category would be selected and their fans would be required to endorse them in a poll-like competition on Facebook, and the winner of the polls walks home with DJ Mac branded T-shirts and an amount of one thousand Ghana cedis.

*”GHS 1,000.00 might look like nothing but imagine 10 or 20 people walking away after ten or 20 weeks, that would have been ten or twenty thousand Ghana Cedis direct support for persons that are contributing towards the growth of the media/showbiz industry in my home region”* he said in an interview with Bright Ellis on Global 105.1 FM.

He further stated that, he is looking forward to staging an excellence awards that will celebrate hard work and recognize the contributions of the many people that have toiled to ensure the continual growth of these industries. This award is tentatively expected to take place December 2021.

Touching on the On-line shows hosted by Kossi Azoumaro aka DJ Mac, he introduced a new show which aired on Friday 5TH March 2021 dubbed “HOT PALAVER”. This  comes to add to his “Weekend Vibe Show”, and ” DJ MAC TALK SHOW”, which are all  social media live shows on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays every week targeted at boosting the culture of the people of Togo and Ghana.

The hot Palaver show saw the controversial musician cum radio presenter Blakk Rasta as it first guest. Just as the focus of the show, their conversation centered on the current happenings in Ghana. The socioeconomic issues, political issues, the judicial system, the recent supreme court hearing of the 2020 election disputes and the judgement that was passed, and the LGBTQ+ controversy.

The DJ Mac Challenge resumes this weekend.

Paradigm Initiative releases short film ‘FOCUS’ urging citizen vigilance to protect digital rights

Published

on

Paradigm Initiative (PIN), a pan-African social enterprise working to advance digital rights and inclusion in Africa, will on Wednesday, October 20, release its second and latest short film entitled ‘FOCUS’ to the public on the YouTube platform where it can be accessed for free.

The release was preceded by a premiere on Thursday, October 14, which was attended by a rich and influential cast of prominent social and digital rights activists, journalists, policymakers, members of the diplomatic corps, social media influencers, and others.

FOCUS was directed by acclaimed filmmaker, Tolulope Ajayi, and produced by Up In The Sky, a creative and production agency based in Lagos. The short film creatively explores and dramatizes PIN’s 2020 annual digital rights and inclusion report dubbed Londa, which depicts the health of digital rights and inclusion in 20 African countries.
It follows PIN’s first and widely-regarded short film, Training Day, and marks a continuation of the organization’s innovative trend to harness the power of story-telling in raising awareness on its research findings and spurring citizen-led actions on the protection of digital rights and government accountability.

The newly-released short film FOCUS especially accentuates the importance of citizen vigilance in confronting and halting the disturbing wave of restrictive policies enacted across several countries in Africa to constrict social spaces online, muffle speech, and subvert online mobilization and democratic movements.

Its release on October 20, 2021, a date when last year the Nigerian government violently quelled the nationwide ‘ENDSARS’ protest against police brutality that received global attention with an attack on protesters at the Lekki Toll Gate in Lagos, has refocused attention on the state of online freedoms in Nigeria and the power of citizens to mobilize freely.

Commenting, PIN Chief Operating Officer, Nnenna Paul-Ugochukwu said: “Focus is an exploratory way used by PIN to best impact the society through storytelling while spotlighting key issues plaguing the digital rights inclusion ecosystems. With this short film, we hope to inspire change and bring about radical thinking and adjustment.”
Twitter, the service that played a central role in how young Nigerians were able to mobilize and coordinate actions for the protest, remains inaccessible in Nigeria following a suspension enforced by the government since June 2021.
Internet blockades and arbitrary bans, a continent-wide problem in Africa, formed part of the central theme of the short film as PIN presented options to citizens facing such repression on how to maintain access using tailored tools it developed to boycott the blockades.

FOCUS also alerts citizens to means to identify and take collective actions against the subtle but increasingly desperate and broad-ranging plots by the government to slip through policies and other restrictive measures aimed at limiting online freedoms and censoring speech.

With the support of The Kingdom of Netherlands, Open Society Initiative for West Africa (OSIWA) and the United States Department of State, FOCUS continues Paradigm Initiative’s efforts to mainstream topical issues using the medium of story telling as a vehicle of social transformation.

The short film is available for free viewing on PIN’s YouTube channel @ParadigmHQ, in English and French versions to cater to reach audiences from the anglophone and francophone parts of Africa.
Watch the film for free on YouTube below.

Published

on

Chart pattern trading has become a very popular way to make consistent profit in the stock market. The majority of the traders have realized the fact short term trading method is not that useful in the trading industry. So, they are trying to learn about long-term trading techniques. When it comes to long-term trading techniques, the chart pattern trading strategy is by far the most effective means to find reliable trade signals in the market.

In this article, we are going to discuss some amazing techniques by which you can trade the major chart patterns like a pro trader. Though some of the steps will be hard, you can easily learn this by using the tips mentioned in this article.

Continuation chart pattern

As a new stock trader, you should not be trading the market based on the reversal chart pattern. Reversal chart pattern trading is very tough and the risk factors are also very high. To keep your fund safe, you should be looking at the important market variables and look for reliable trade signals which favor the trend. Once you start focusing on the trend trading technique, you will find things easier. Moreover, most of the breakout takes place in favour of the existing trend and thus the retail traders can easily make a big profit without facing much hassle.

Reversal chart pattern

After learning about the continuation chart pattern trading technique, you need to learn some advanced trading techniques by which you can deal with the reversal patterns in the market. Look at this site and learn about the reversal pattern trading technique so that you can take wise decisions in the investment business. Never think you can become good at trading without practicing the things in the demo account. Get a professional demo account from Saxo and try to learn the reversal chart pattern trading strategies in a very effective way. As you become confident with your demo trading performance, you may start trading with real money.

Learn candlestick pattern

You should integrate price action trading basics with the chart pattern trading technique to find the best possible trade signals in the market. Without learning to deal with the major candlestick patterns in the market, things will be really difficult in the trading industry. You need to follow some basic rules and take the trades in a very strategic way. As you become good at analyzing the major candlestick pattern, you will learn to find the major breakout with a high level of precision. While trading the major breakout, try to follow a conservative trading technique as it will make you more confident with your actions.

Learn to trade with low risk

Smart traders never trade the market with high risk. They use a low-risk trading approach since they know trading is one of the riskiest businesses in the world. The maximum risk which you should take per trade is 1% of your account balance. However, as you gain experience, you can risk more than 1% of your account balance. But remember, chart pattern traders also deal with frequent losing trades. Never expect that you will be winning most of the trades without doing the proper data analysis. Take your time and learn to deal with the market in a conservative way. As you become good at that, you will learn to make the right decision in the trading profession.

Trade with confidence

After learning about the chart pattern trading method, you should work on your confidence level. Without having strong confidence in your trading actions, you will never learn to deal with the losing trades. Most people think emotions have no place in the investment industry. And this is very true. Sadly, the rookie traders don’t believe in this factor. But to survive in this profession, you must gain control over your emotions and trade the market with strong confidence.

5 Things to Consider Before Buying a Love Doll

Published

on

For a lot of people, lifelike sex dolls are now a sensible way of satisfying their sexual needs, sexual fantasies and some nice intimacy. Many are opting for love dolls as away of upgrading their sexual experiences, be a it a solo sexual satisfaction or in concert with a partner. For some, these love dolls have become almost like real human partners capable of taking the place of their real partners as far as meeting their sexual satisfaction goes.

Thanks to technology and materials advances, sex dolls are now made to a very standard with a realistic feeling skin, soft touch, implanted and realistic looking hair, and even removable hymens. This means sex dolls are now able to provide many with genuine and lifelike sexual relationships such as those that they’d get from real people. If you buy the right lifelike sex doll from the right manufacturer, you will pretty much get an exquisite feminine replica that is as real as they come and one which will meet both your sexual and psychological needs.

To buy a sex doll that closely resembles the woman of your dreams and which will meet all your sexual desires and drive you to a sexual climax every time, here are some of the factors that you should consider: –

Silicone vs TPE Sex Dolls

This is an important consideration as it will have a bearing on the quality of the sexual experience that you will have with your doll as well as on other factors such as maintenance and longevity. Before you buy your lifeline sex doll, ask yourself whether you want to have a silicone or TPE sex doll. TPE accounts for 90% sex of dolls while silicone accounts for just 10%. Both materials have their advantages and disadvantages.

Silicone sits at the premium end of the market and is a good choice if you are looking for hyper-realistic sex doll with real hair implants, soft skin, ease of maintenance, longevity, and one that will easily support multiple sex positions just like a real human.

Many people find silicone sex dolls not just lifelike but also more practical, enabling the individual to derive maximum sexual delight, both from a physical and psychological perspective. Clients who have used silicone sex dolls report deriving sexual pleasure that is very close to genuine sex. On the flipside, silicone sex dolls are very expensive and heavier than the TPE sex dolls.

TPE sex dolls have their advantages, too. They are cheaper, softer and lighter and as a result, they are more accessible. However, being plastic, TPE can pose an environmental hazard. They also wear out faster than silicone sex dolls. While silicone sex dolls do not have any odor, TPE sex dolls can smell like gum or they will have the smell of the added fragrance.

What brand to choose?

There are numerous sex doll manufacturers in the market that you can choose from. The quality of their dolls varies considerably. Some of these build higher end and top quality sex dolls that are almost lifelike while others don’t. Generally, if you go for the bigger and better-known sex doll brands such as BBdoll, you are likely to get a better quality and lifelike sex doll than when you go for the small and more obscure companies. Bigger and famous companies also offer warranties and other perks that will make your sexual experience with your love doll a complete delight.

Buy from a Factory or Local Agent

When buying a sex dolls, there are usually multiple purchase options to go for. You can order online from sex shops, from dropshipping shops, from local agents or directly from the factory. It often makes sense to purchase your sex dolls directly from the factory as you are assured of a genuine product and you will get the sex doll at the right pricing. However, buying direct from the factory does not give you the personalized customer service that you would get from a local agent or sex shop. Besides, some resellers might bundle the sex dolls with other perks so buying from them may come with added value.

Do you accept the processing time?

When buying a sex doll, it is also important to factor in the processing time. TPE sex dolls can be processed fast, usually in as little as 3 to 5 days. However, silicone sex dolls usually take more than 20 days to process. You should keep this mind when deciding on which lifelike sex doll to purchase.

Do you want to use it for a short time or a long time?

The longevity of the sex doll is also something that you should keep in mind and this directly depends on the type of material used in making the sex doll. If you are looking for a sex doll that you can use for a less than a year, we recommend buying one that is made from TPE plastic. However, if you are looking for a long lasting and premium quality sex doll that you can use for years, a silicone sex doll is the way to go.
