It seems as if it was just yesterday that eCampus was giving out awards at The Sharks Quiz to participating students. A total of 2 million cedis worth of subscription on its platform to ensure a higher pass rate to JHS and SHS students in their final exams. Well as the saying goes “the more you give, the more you receive.”

That must of been the case for the edutech startup sweeping each award in the categories nominated in at the just ended Ghana Startup Awards in Accra. eCampus topped the award ceremony with the highest number of awards (3), winning Education startup of the year, Startup of the Year and the overall Entrepreneur of the Year went to eCampus CEO, Cecil S. Nutakor.

This was the 3rd edition of the Ghana Startup Awards in which eCampus is a 2x winner in the Education startup of The Year category (winning in the maiden edition) and first time winner in the Startup of the Year category. A first time win for the CEO in the Entrepreneur of The Year category makes eCampus the highest award recipient in the history of the prestigious Award ceremony.

A marvelous night of recognition for all startups in the country. The CEO, who was present at the Award show with the CTO, Thomas Darku, dedicated the awards to the users, team and to those who instilled the entrepreneurial drive in the company.
