Live on the Kobie GrahamLive on the Terrace presents “A Blues Journey from Timbuktu to Memphis” courtesy of special guest and jazz enthusiast Andy Karas on Tuesday 1st October, 7-9pm. Andy’s personal favorites trace African roots to gospel to blues to jazz to vintage R&B (Al Green, Otis Redding) with a common groove to make the backbone slip. Andy Karas is the Deputy Director of the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) in Ghana. Andy joined the US Foreign Service in 2000, and has had prior assignments in Rwanda, Kenya, Afghanistan, Washington, DC, and Djibouti. He also managed community-based assistance programming for low-income and homeless populations in New York City. As usual, the early bird catches the worm; Tuesday’s extended Happy Hour closes at 8pm. Guests can indulge in specials including 2 for 1 cocktail, GHC 3.00 beers and delicious meals from the exquisite 1A menu. For table reservations, contact 0244 662 692. As we say in Accra, Gidi Gidi b3 mli! We’ll save you a seat.]]>
