Exclusive Photos: D-Black releases sophomore album, 'The Revelation’

Ghanaian hiphop artist, D-Black has officially  released his second solo album, ‘The Revelation’  today, December 17. The release was preceded by a media launch at the Movenpick Hotel on Sunday, sponsored by electronics company, rlg.  The album which has already spawned hits like the Ghana Music Awards nominated ‘My Kinda Girl’ featuring Sarkodie;  chart topping ‘VERA’ featuring Joey B, and the  Channel O Music Video Award winning ‘Falling’ featuring Mo Cheddah, also features ‘Conference Call’ with Kwaw Kese and Sarkodie and the hip hop club banger ‘Change Your Life’ with E.L.  Music video for ‘Change Your Life’, which was shot in South Africa, was also premiered at the launch. D-Black's The Revelation Album launch D-Black's The Revelation Album launch D-Black's The Revelation Album launch D-Black's The Revelation Album launch D-Black's The Revelation Album launch D-Black's The Revelation Album launch ‘The  Revelation’ album comes in two packages, the ‘ GH Version’ and the ‘Deluxe Version’. The ‘GH Version’ packaged in cardboard casing has 15 tracks including collaborations with E.L, Kwaw Kese, Sarkodie, Efya, Kesse, Raquel and more. Copies of the album will be selling in stores nationwide at 3GHC. The ‘Deluxe Version’ which is packaged in a hard body jewel case has 20 tracks on the album, a lyric booklet plus a free 2013 D-Black poster / calendar inside. It features collaborations with Ice Prince, Mo Cheddah, Waje, Muna and Skales from Nigeria, Maybach Music’s Wale, YMCMB’s Gudda Gudda, Webster, Rell and Sheek Louch from the U.S.A as well as Congo’s Fally Ipupa, Salah Edin from Morocco and Ghanaian talents E.L, Kwaw Kese, Sarkodie, Efya, Kese, Raquel,Joey B. D-Black introduces fellow label mates Ayraaba , Dein and A.J Omoalajah on ‘The Revelation’ as well. The Deluxe Version will be retailed in Ghana and internationally at 10 GHC and online on iTunes, Amazon and other online outlets at $9.99. Also as a bonus from D-Black, the first 200 buyers of the Deluxe Version of D-Black’s ‘The Revelation Album’ at the Silverbird Stores at the Accra Mall also get a free ‘D-Black The Revelation Wristband’ that automatically gets you in to the D-Black & Friends Concert scheduled for the Labadi Beach in January 2013.
