Fashion Industry Icon Nini Amerlise Wins Model of the Decade

The Canadian-Ghanaian supermodel Nini Amerlise has been an iconic face in the fashion industry since 2013 and took her role seriously after competing at African Fashion Week Toronto in the summer of 2014. Even though the beautiful diamond in rough was rejected and did not progress far in the competition, adversity ignited a new flame inside of her.

Today she took home the Award of “MODEL OF THE DECADE” at the African Fashion Industry Awards, 10th anniversary hosted by African Fashion Week Toronto. Canada’s largest fashion platform that celebrates talent from the African, and Caribbean Diaspora .

The 28 year old has amassed an impressive list of accolades and achievements with no intention of slowing down. Having recently married Igbo artist B’kem, the journey has been filled with moments of bliss and gratitude. From winning her first award “Top Model” at the Miss International City pageant in 2015 to receiving Women Leadership recognition from Canadian member of parliament, Gary Anandasangaree. This makes Nini Amerlise the current recipient of 11 international awards globally.

Through her companies NA Management Inc and We Are Royals Inc, she has developed and built esteem and confidence for generations of creatives and models in both the African and North American Diasporas. We are proud of the woman she has become.

Among her elaborate works are her roles as an actress and TV host for Travel Africa Network. After winning Season one of Supermodel Canada, her career took off. Among her many international appearances are “Stitched” Fashion competition on Slice TV, Cover of Share Newspaper, NBC, Fox News, CBS, CTV, Vogue UK, The Daily Mail, Vogue USA, Glamour Magazine, Glam Africa magazine, Jamaican Gleaner, and Men’s Health

South Africa. She will also attend a red carpet screening next week for a supporting role in “Stay” the film, along with celebrity actor Joseph Benjamin.
