As the winner of season one of ‘Supermodel Canada,’ Nini is grateful for her platform and global reach and hopes to inspire Ghanaian models to reach the pinnacle of international modeling. Instead, she wants them to embrace the challenges they encounter as stepping stones toward their fulfilling their destiny”, she said.

According to Mr. Jerry Wonder, who founded and directs the Ghana Models Awards, Amerlise was chosen for her consistent and selfless efforts coupled with her inspiration and contribution in helping models become better at their careers.

“Having Nini Amerlise as our face will surely impact our community positively and counteract the negative perception of modeling in Ghana”, he said. As the face for the year, he believes that “every model dreams of reaching the status of Supermodel can become a reality.”

As a result of severe domestic abuse and bullying in her earlier years, Nini created We Are Royals Inc, a nonprofit organization devoted to developing esteem and confidence in youth through arts and culture in North America, West Africa, and the Caribbean diaspora.
