Van Buren Records artist FELIX! has just shared a new music video for “PLAYBOY”, off of his new 2-track EP PLEASE DON’T STEAL MY CLOTHES. FELIX! recently released his new EP on the heels of making his debut on the Billboard charts via his appearance on the standout track “Upset“ (12M+ Streams) off of Brent Faiyaz’s new album Larger Than Life. Debuting at #12 on Hot R&B Songs and #33 on Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs, the track displays FELIX!‘s growing mainstream appeal and the faith that industry heavyweights have in his genre-bending sensibilities. FELIX! was subsequently named a “Best New Artist” by COMPLEX/Pigeons & Planes, championing him for his “unconventional, alternative hip-hop” and versatility as an emcee. Using the moment to capitalize on growing his solo career, FELIX!’s new EP PLEASE DON’T STEAL MY CLOTHES, which arrived with a video for “PARIS FASHION WEEK”, finds him delivering a healthy balance of bar work that boasts both imaginative flexes as a superstar in the making and candid, relatable expressions of everyday life. On “PLAYBOY”, FELIX!delivers an intimate performance embracing the excursions of his lifestyle – “Used to want the XXL, now I’m somewhere in the hills making XXX”, he raps over the deep bassline and kicking drums. After spending the past few years as an integral member of the Massachusetts-based Van Buren Records Hip-Hop collective, FELIX! is now gearing up to take his solo career to the next level and continuing his hot streak with his new video for “PLAYBOY” – out now.
