“Follow me as I embark on a new journey” – Wendy Shay hints at Rufftown Records exit
Ghanaian singer Wendy Shay has hinted at parting ways with her record label, Rufftown Records. In a recent tweet, Wendy announced that her latest single, “Who Cares,” will not be released under Rufftown Records.
She encouraged her fans, the SHAYGANG, to subscribe to her new YouTube channel as she embarks on a fresh start. “My new video will not be on Rufftown Records’ channel. Follow me as I embark on a new journey,” she wrote.

Previously, Wendy Shay shared a cryptic post reflecting on her time with Rufftown Records, stating, “Been 6 years already? Okay, you can go now. Who cares?”

Wendy signed a five-year contract with Bullet’s Rufftown Records in 2018, following the tragic passing of Ebony, who was signed to the label at the time.
