Fred Nuamah to contest Ayawaso West Wuogon Constituency parliamentary seat

Ghanaian actor, Fred Nuamah has declared his intention to contest the parliamentary seat for the Ayawaso West Wuogon Constituency under the ticket of the National Democratic Congress (NDC).

A poster with the face of the Ghana Movie Awards C.E.O  has been shared widely on social media on Thursday, February 9.

It is not known who Fred will be running against in the 2024 elections, however, the Ayawaso West Wuogon Parliamentary seat is currently occupied by the New Patriotic Party’s Lydia Alhassan.

In 2020, Fred’s colleague, John Dumelo contested the seat against Lydia Alhassan, but he lost.

Fred Nuamah, born Frederick Kwaku Nuamah, is a Ghanaian actor, film director and producer best known for his role in the movie ‘The Game.’

He is the founder and CEO of Ghana Movie Awards & Ghana TV series Awards, an annual award show that recognises excellence in the Ghanaian film industry.
