funny face and DKBJanuary 2012 will usher in a new and exciting season of the Comedy Club Live in Lagos on MNet.  The show provides an hour’s worth of side splitting entertainment for the live venue audience as well as the viewer at home, providing a platform for up and coming comedians.

The show is hosted by IK Osakioduwa of Big Brother Africa fame, an accomplished stand-up comedian and will feature guest comedians, including two from Ghana. Episode 2 on January 9 will feature Ghana’s DKB also known as The Sexy Dada B who holds a Bachelor of Science in Agriculture from the University of Ghana with secondary education in St. John’s Grammar school. He is a member of the Ghana Comedians Network. Episode 5 on January 30 will feature Funny Face (Benson Ohene-Oduro Boateng) also from Kwahu Abetifi in Ghana. Funny Face has been overheard saying; “I’m a serious, business-minded person who is a scientist and a pilot in the mind.”

Other comedians on the bill include Funnybone, Small Mummy, Mandy and Klint from Nigeria, Pablo and Patrick Idringi from Uganda and Vamboi from Sierra Leone, to name a few.
