<![CDATA[Known in the music industry as the Slim Drumz, whose real name is George P.K Blankson, the #TadiTrapLord is one the most ‘low key’ influential music makers Ghana has ever seen.
Slim Drumz is a Ghanaian music producer and Afrobeats /Afrotrap recording artiste who has produced hits upon hits including songs like ‘We go see them’ by Luther, Komo l3 by Tinny and Stonebowy, Boys dey suffer by Atumpan and Guru; just to mention a few.
As part of his rise to fame as a prolific producer and recording afrobeats artiste, Slim Drumz has worked with popular Ghanaian musicians including the likes of BhimNation boss, Stonebwoy,UPTOWN Energy’s Yaa Pono, NKZ’s Guru,Pappy Kojo, Akitiwrowro, Gemini, Tinny, D2, Luther, Wisa, Article Wan, RythmzLive’s Presenter Jason EL A, Screw faze, Topzy; just to mention a few.
Just recently, the #TadiTrapLord launched the most talked about EP, titled JukeBox which featured artistes like Fresh Prince (4 x 4), CJ Biggerman, Acidic, SQUYB, Raph Enzee, Geewan, Kid’Prince and a whole lot of other artistes.
The memorable event (launch of JukeBox by SLIMDRUMZ), which took place at Kenny Profit’s, Chekkers Pub in Adabraka brought together several acts including
Akiyana, SQUY B and Fresh Prince. The event really reflected the ‘trap ‘culture, very intimate performances as the artiste performed in the mist of the audience, there was high energy and the featured artistes brought their game.
‘Yesu’, a song that seems to be making waves and getting played on several radio stations in Ghana recently, was performed by #TadiTrapLord, Slim Drumz as part of the launch of the EP, JukeBox, three times by popular demand.
The all through-night event, commemorating the launch of Slim Drumz EP, also paved way for upcoming artistes to perform and aslo bring to light the newest trending genre, AfroTrap, AKA African Trap Music.
Trap Music, currently one of the most preferred genre of music, has seen many artiste like Future, Migos, Tory Lanez and the like of US Musicians already switched the trend.
All I can say is that, Africa should watch out for a new revolution in music and production – and that change is going to effected by the #TadiTrapLord, Slim Drumz. He is sure to give the other new lords a run for their money.
