Ghana Inter-schools Festival brings children in Accra together for healthy and fun sports

The 2020 edition of the Ghana Inter-schools Festival took place at the EL-wak Stadium on March 13, with a lot of fun and excitement for children drawn from over 15 schools in Accra.

The participating schools included Greater Care International School, Apostolic Holy Child School, New Life School, Apostolic Hope School, Kanda International School, Covenant Presbyterian School, E.P Bethel Preparatory & JHS, Salvation Preparatory School, and Antah Academy.

The rest were Alhaji Saka Memorial School, Eve Godson Preparatory School, Pat GosHen Preparatory School, Rama School, Al-banat Prepatory & JHS, Becky’s Day Care Preparatory School, Al-Fallah School,  God’s will school and many more.

The took part in fun activities such as Football Competition, Basket Ball Competition, Solo Dance Competition, Group Dance Competition, Cultural Dance Display, and a Rap Battle!

New Life Preparatory School emerged as Winners of the Boys Football competition, while Apostolic Hope School Won the Girls Football Competition. Greater Care International School also won the Best Solo Dance Competition, while Pat Goshen Preparatory School Won the Group Dance Competition. Rama School emerged winners for the Cultural Dance Competition.

The vent was organized to bring together skillful students from different background to nurture their talents. Sports has become a compulsory extra curriculum activity in schools.
