TIME magazine has unveiled its annual TIME 100 Most Influential People of 2017 list. Among the names were many of the heavy-hitters one would expect from the world of politics, business and sports. Ghanaian born architect David Adjaye, was included on the prestigious list.
Adjaye’s recognition by TIME for his inimitable vision arrives on the heels of the January ceremony where he received the Knights Bachelor from the Queen of England.
TIME magazine recognized Adjaye as “one of the great architectural visionaries of our time”. This is the first time that a Ghanaian has made it to this enviable list which was unveiled by the magazine on Thursday.
