Ghana’s coronavirus count now at 5,127

Ghana’s covid-19 count has risen to a total of 5,127. This is according to the Director General of the Ghana Health Service, Dr Patrick Kuma-Aboagye. Speaking to journalists at the Ministry of Information’s media briefing, Dr Patrick Kuma-Aboagye confirmed that a total of 427 new infections have been recorded.

Cases in the Ashanti Region especially Obuasi have risen sharply.

Recoveries stand at 494 and 22 deaths.
