Harry Ahovi Wins Volta Best Blogger for the Second Consecutive Time

Ghanaian blogger Harry Ahovi, popularly known as Prince Harrylord, has won the prestigious Blogger of the Year award at this year’s Volta Media Excellence Awards 2024.

Harry Ahovi, the owner of Harrygraphic.com, also doubles as a GhanaWeb Reporter. He previously won the Ghana Youth Blogger of the Year award and was adjudged the Best Blogger in the Volta Region at the 5th edition of the Volta Media Excellence Awards, after winning the 4th edition last year in 2023.

Prince Harrylord, as he is affectionately called, serves as the personal blogger and publicist for Ghana’s youngest musician, Foto Copy, and his brother Jessy DeGreat, who are both rappers and Afrobeat musicians.

This year’s Volta Media Excellence Awards took place in Dzodze, with Hon. Edem Agbana (NDC PC-Ketu North), Hon. Enoch Amegble (NPP PC-Ketu North), and celebrated journalist Roland Walker gracing the occasion.

Harry Ahovi has been an advocate for positive news devoid of sensationalism and lies. With his journalism background, he upholds the ethics of the profession and encourages his fellow bloggers to do the same.

Apart from blogging, Harry has appeared on 3Music’s “The Game,” Kingdom FM’s “Entertainment City,” AiT TV’s “Showbiz City,” and more to share his knowledge on industry-related issues. Additionally, he has done PR for brands and individuals across the country.

In 2021, he was the only Ghanaian blogger to be nominated for the Afrikpreneur Awards in Cameroon after winning African Blogpreneur of the Year at the African Top Entrepreneurs Awards in 2019. Currently, he manages Harrygraphic.com and reports on national issues as a freelancer.
