HIBS Africa beauty trade show set for September 24 – 25

HIBS Africa is a beauty trade show with multiple vendors from Ghana, Nigeria, France, the UK, the USA, the Netherlands and other countries.

The maiden  edition of HIBS Africa was in September 2019 in Ghana at the Accra international conference center and was a huge success with both local and international vendors showcasing their products and services to all attendees and streamed live to the rest of the world via Facebook and YouTube.

Since then, the covid 19 pandemic made organizers unable to host the show due to the social distancing protocols in place and the fact that  this was a show that involved thousands of people in one place so it was naturally  impossible to host it within that period.

The upcoming edition of HIBS Africa is slated for September 24th and 25th 2022 from 11:30am to 8pm each day at the Accra international conference center with a 2 day pass going for only 100 cedis (USD 10) alongside a goodie bag at the gate for each ticketed attendee. There are well over 100 vendors who have signed up for the event. The specific industries  include hair care, beauty (makeup), skin, fashion and accessories at this upcoming HIBS Africa event. Also all products and services at HIBS Africa are being extended to attendees at massive discounts exclusively for the show whilst other vendors are providing their services like barbering, hair styling, manicure/pedicure and others for free, yes absolutely free!

There will also be multiple stage shows like fashion shows, hair shows by different hair companies, live demonstrations on stage, hair competitions, the Face of Hair Senta Competition with 20 contestants, Barbering competition and an educational aspect of the program as well to help inspire attendees who want to start businesses or hear stories on how others have built sustainable businesses over the period.  The China Europe international business school (CEIBS Africa) will be holding a free business strategy class for all attendees who are interested and the key note speaker for this year’s event is Mrs Tara Fela-Durotoye, founder of House of Tara International  who is also a pioneer in the makeup manufacturing business in Nigeria. In 2019, the key note speaker was Reverend Albert Ocran who gave an inspiring speech to the attendees and vendors of the event.

There will be more than 15 classes on skill development, sales, marketing and coaching happening simultaneously each day and over 30 stage shows on both days. On Sunday morning, Day 2  of the event, September 25th, there will be a church service from 9am to 11am before show resumes at 11:30am till close time  at 8pm.
