I cannot buy credit for my fans to vote for me- TeePhlow

Ghanaian rapper, TeeThlow has said that he cannot buy credit for his fans to vote for him to win in the various categories at the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards 2019.

Whilst some artistes like Shatta Wale have taken up the mantle of buying credit for his fans to vote for him, TeePhlow thinks otherwise

TeePhlow who has been nominated in the best rapper and songwriter category at this year’s Vodafone Ghana Music Awards said whilst speaking on Radio Central that his team is doing their best to bring home the awards.

“We are doing the best we can do to bring the award but at the end of the day, we can’t do everything. Obviously, I can’t buy credit for people to vote like Sarkodie will do. I can’t do it alone so we have to do it together”, he told host, Amansan Krakye.

TeePhlow however entreated his fans to vote for him instead of talking about how much he deserves to win.

“Every category that has to do with voting takes collective effort to win. Anytime you see an artist nominated for category that has to do with voting, the winner is the one that had most votes. So the only way we can win is to come together and vote across board. Most times people will be saying ‘this year Teephlow go take am’ but we don’t use mouth to win an award but votes. I have done my part as an artist so it has left with the fans to vote so that we can carry the awards”, he added.
