I don’t see myself as someone who has achieved something major yet -Wizkid

Global music sensation, Ayodeji Ibrahim Balogun, popularly known as Wizkid recently revealed that, despite his immense success and international acclaim, he believes he has not made any major achievements in the music industry. 

According to him, his journey as a crooner is just about to begin, stressing that he is yet to scoop any major achievement in the music industry despite his accolades, stream and chart successes.

The music star made this known while speaking in a recent interview with BBC Radio 1Xtra.

“The journey is about to begin for Wizkid. I don’t see myself as someone who has achieved something major yet. For me, music is a forever thing,” he said.

Wizkid, one of Africa’s most decorated artists, boasts an impressive record as one of Sub-Saharan Africa’s most streamed musicians on various platforms. He holds the title of the second most followed Nigerian artist on social media, right after Davido.
