I have no issue with Stonebwoy; I’ll interview him if he is willing – Sammy Flex

Ghanaian entertainment Broadcaster and artiste manager, Samuel Atuobi Baah, widely known as Sammy Flex, has expressed his willingness to interview Reggae/Dancehall singer, Stonebwoy if the crooner is open to it.

Speaking to Kwame Dadzie on Showbiz A-Z, the founder of Sammy Flex TV and manager for Shatta Wale, disclosed that the last time he interviewed the ‘Therapy’ hitmaker was during their time at Zylofon FM some few years back.

Despite any past differences, Sammy Flex clarified that he currently has no issues with Stonebwoy. He further acknowledged the competitive nature among top artistes in Ghana and recognized that his role as Shatta Wale’s manager might create some reservations for Stonebwoy.

However, Sammy Flex emphasized that he still maintains his journalism perspective and continues to interview artistes. If Stonebwoy is willing, he is open to conducting an interview.

“The last time I had an encounter with Stonebwoy was when I was at Zylofon FM, when I interviewed him,” he said.

Asked if he had tried putting Stonebwoy on his show for an interview since their time at Zylofon, he answered saying;

“With the top artistes in Ghana, take it or leave it, there is stiff competition among them. So now knowing my position as a manager of Shatta Wale and knowing that there is stiff competition between them, would he throw himself into this game? You understand?

‘And again now because of my position I am sure everybody will think I would have some classified information about certain people including him. So if he opens up for me for an interview I think he might not be sure how it will play out but I still have my journalism cap on, I still interview artistes. I’ve been interviewing artistes be it on Sammy Flex or Class TV. I’ve been interviewing artistes everyday so if he is willing, why not?.

When asked if his new role as an artiste manager does not conflict with his journalism profession, Sammy detailed that he always knows how to strike a balance.
