I might just vote for cheddar; both NPP and NDC are the same – Efia Odo

Ghanaian actress and social media personality, Andrea Owusu, popularly known as Efia Odo has expressed her disillusionment with the country’s two major political parties, the New Patriotic Party (NPP) and the National Democratic Congress (NDC).

In a tweet sighted by Ameyaw Debrah Media, Efia Odo asserted that she might vote for Nana Kwame Bediako, otherwise known as Cheddar and his party, New Force. 

I might just vote for cheddar and the new force Chaley cuz both NPP and NDC are the same, just that one is more evil. It’s really time for a change. These politicians have Ben fooling us for too long with their exaggerated grammar.

Her assertion reflects a growing sentiment among some Ghanaians who feel that the NPP and NDC, which have alternated power since the advent of the Fourth Republic, offer little substantive difference in governance and policies. 

The social media influencer’s stance resonates with many young Ghanaians who are increasingly skeptical of the political elite and are seeking alternatives that promise genuine change. Her critique highlights concerns over persistent issues such as corruption, unemployment, and inadequate public services, which many believe have not been sufficiently addressed by either party.
