UK and American based Gospel Act, Dr. Sonnie Badu has noted that his impending concert, dubbed INVASION, first manifested in his dream and he cannot wait for the dream to become a reality come July 6, 2019.
According to the International Musician and Preacher, he had always wanted to do something very historical, hence when the dream for the concert came he birthed what is called the INVASION concert and he is optimistic this will be an annual concert that will make history and tour other countries.
“I have always believed in us as Africans and always prayed to God to help me do something that will inspire my generation. I am optimistic of staging concerts in stadiums and arenas all over the world and I am glad come July 6th, this dream will be a reality”, he reiterated in an Interview with ameyawdebrah.com.
He further advised his many followers to keep dreaming, because dreams do come true and disclosed that after the Invasion Concert in Maryland, the next stop will be in Africa.
The event which takes place at the Dar Constitution Hall in Maryland will see an interplay of worship and praise from giant gospel acts from American, Nigeria and Ghana. New Jersey-based gospel singer, songwriter, choir director, and multi-instrumentalist Tye Tribbett leads the ministers from America like Todd Dulaney, J.J Hairston, Jonathan Nelson and Phil Thompson. Minister Eben leads the Nigerian crew with his other colleagues like Tim Godfrey, Preye and Joe Praize and in Ghana, Joe Mettle who is the first ever Gospel winner of the artist of the year at the Ghana Music Awards will represent Ghana alongside host of Invasion Concert and Multiple award winner, Dr. Sonnie Badu.
“THE INVASION”, which an annual gospel musical concert is produced by the seasons initiative and powered by Analiticks media is not only geared towards bringing people from all walks of society to honour God through worship but also to create an avenue for partnership between the Sonnie Badu Ministries and Seasons to help foster the aspiration of Africans to go global.
