I’ve already received £80,000 to perform at Medikal’s concert – DJ Azonto claims

Ghanaian Disc Jockey and musician, Mark Kwesi Arthur, professionally known as DJ Azonto has disclosed that he will be performing at Medikal’s yet-to-be held concert in London.

According to the “Fa no fom” singer, he has already received part payment from the rapper to perform at his upcoming concert which will be held at the O2 Arena in London.

Speaking in an exclusive interview with Dr. Prekese on Onua FM’s Efie Ne Fie, DJ Azonto detailed that he has been billed as part of performers for the show and has already received a whopping amount of £80,000 as part payment for his performance.

He further explained that the agreed amount for payment was £100,000, hence the remaining £20,000 will be settled after his performance at the show.

“Can Medikal have the show without me? Have you seen any father who eats and does not feed his sons? I have received pounds from Medikal, you will see me live in London. Medikal has paid and billed me.

“I’m taking £100,000, he has already paid me £80,000 [after performance then I take the £20,000],” he said.

Medikal’s highly anticipated concert at the illustrious O2 Arena will take place on May 3rd. The rapper has been generating attention and gathering momentum for his concert since March.
