Renowned Ghanaian actor and movie producer, Eddie Nartey has recently opened up about his struggles, revealing that he, too, has experienced the profound pain of a broken heart.

In a candid submission on his podcast, Nartey shared that despite his on-screen charisma and success in the Ghanaian entertainment industry, he has not been immune to the emotional challenges that many face in matters of the heart.

The award-winning actor emphasized the fact that a broken heart is a very painful experience as it leads to so many other challenges including forgetfulness and uncertainty.

”Aside hell, a broken heart is the most painful thing on earth to experience. I know you are going to say God created everything in the world, I mean the birds, the sky etc, but I don’t think God created a broken heart. Human beings created broken heart because it hurts, like…broken heart hurt. If you are 18 and haven’t experienced a broken heart, thank God,” he said.

The actor cum film director further asserted that a broken heart experience helps one to gain so much experience when it comes to relationships. He went on to added that broken heart is mostly associated with love, especially people who one loves dearly.

Eddie then shared his broken heart  experience, detailing what transpired between him and his ex.  By sharing his own experiences, Nartey breaks down societal expectations and highlights the universality of heartbreak.
