Jackie Appiah, Joselyn Dumas, Majid Michel and others welcome AfricaMagic Viewers Choice Award trophy to Accra

After the nominees for the maiden edition of the AfricaMagic Viewers Choice Award were announced on Monday evening, Biola Alabi, Managing Director of M-Net Africa has kicked off the African tour of the award trophy in Ghana. The sleek AMVCA trophy was unveiled at ceremony in Accra on Tuesday morning. Present at the ceremony was Jackie Appiah, who has been nominated for Best Actress (Drama) for her role in ‘Perfect Picture’.  Ghanaian film maker,  Shirley Frimpong-Manso, who also received multiple nominations for her films, ‘Perfect Picture’ and ‘Sting in A Tale’ was also present.  Among the other guests were Majid Michel and his wife, Joselyn Dumas and Socrates Safo.
