King Promise contacted me before sampling ‘Aso’ for ‘Favorite Story’ – Kwabena Kwabena
Ghanaian singer Kwabena Kwabena has spoken about fellow artist King Promise sampling his song ‘Aso’ for a new track.
In an interview on Hitz 103.9 FM, Kwabena Kwabena explained that King Promise informed him about the sampling beforehand. “We met on a flight, and he told me about it. Later, he played the song for me, and it sounded so good,” he shared.
The sampled track, ‘Favorite Story,’ features Sarkodie and Olivetheboy and it’s included in King Promise’s latest album, “True to Self.”
