An African woman at the core, her passion for creating healing between Africans from the continent and Africans in the diaspora spawned the culturally inclusive television talk show series and movement The Diaspora Dialogues. The Diaspora Dialogues are a series of innovative, inspirational, entertaining and intimateconversations designed to facilitate cultural exchange, while fostering and inspiring empathy between two seemingly different groups of the same people, Africa and its Diaspora. We will invite both parties together on one platform, to bridge the gap by connecting with Entertainers, Influencers, Tastemakers, Local Heroes, Change Agents and Artists as guests. We will explore engaging subject matter which not only has timely relevance but is also uniquely entertaining in its honest approach. See the trailer below for a snippet of what can be expected on our dynamic show! EPISODE 1: WHO DO YOU THINK YOU ARE Grammy award-winning Artist Estelle, best known for her hit “American Boy” which reached global fame. Estelle is of Senegalese and Grenadian decent. Suede is a digital influential manager who has helped represent stars such as Kelly Rowland& David Guetta in South Africa. EPISODE 2: WHAT DOES BEAUTIFUL LOOK LIKE Khoudia Diop is best known as a “Melanin Goddess.” Khoudia is of Senegalese decent and has now become an international model known for her beautiful complexion. Khoudia was featured in a campaign for the French brand Make Up Forever. EPISODE 3: ARE WE CUT FROM THE SAME CLOTH PART 1 American Actress and  activist Monique Coleman most recognized as Taylor Mckessie in Disney’s High School Musical franchise. However, her most significant role came a few years ago when she was appointed the first ever United Nations Youth Champion for the International Year of Youth. Chris Attoh is an established actor, filmmaker, TV host from Ghana, West Africa by way of film school in England. He has had the opportunity to work in the industry for over 15 years. Currently he is a season regular on the MTV show “Shuga.” EPISODE 3: ARE WE CUT FROM THE SAME CLOTH PART 2 Jodie Smith is a British born Jamaican model and actress known for her appearances in True Blood and The Last Ship. She is well known for her unique & edgy style. Jodie promotes self love through her fashion as she faces the everyday challenges of Hollywood. Nana Akua Addo, born in Berlin, Germany, gained recognition when she was awarded Miss Ghana Germany. She is now an international model known to wear African prints and beautiful gowns. EPISODE 4: ARE YOU AFRICAN ENOUGH Vanessa McCullers is an entertainment executive and advocate. She is a spokeswoman for MOBs: Mothers of Black Boys. Vanessa has a n extensive resume as she has worked with some of Hollywood’s top entertainment brands such as OWN, MTV and TMZ.Chiké Okonkwo is an Igbo-Nigerian actor who has performed in theater productions such as Julius Caesar and All My Sons.
