Kuami Eugene honoured at BMI London Awards 2022
Ghanaian singer Kuami Eugene was among the honourees at this year’s BMI London Awards.
The Lynx Entertainment signee was honoured for his contribution to Ckay’s ‘Love Nwantiti’ song which also features Joeboy.
Kuami Eugene and the publishers of the global hit song were honored at the ceremony held on October 3, 2022, at London’s Savoy Hotel.

‘Love Nwantiti’ was one of the songs in the category of ‘Most-Performed Songs of the Year.’This category honors songs that have received the most airplay on terrestrial radio, satellite radio, and digital streaming services in the previous year.
Other big winners on the night included Ed Sheraan & Johnny McDaid for Bad Habits (Song of the Year), Tems (Impact Award) and Wizkid for ‘Essence’ (Most Performed Songs)
The BMI Film & TV Awards are awards presented annually by Broadcast Music, Inc., honoring songwriters, composers, and music publishers in various genres.
