Last Saturday,the Volta Hall of University of Ghana celebrated its 55th Anniversary which saw performances from Kwabena Kwabena, Kaakie, Caroline of Yfm among others.

The Show started around 8:00pm with performances from some girls of the Hall to warm up the stage for the main arts to perform. Affable and popular female presenter, Caroline Sampson of Yfm was the Mc for the show and DJHuarache was the main man behind the turntables  – and  he he was on point  with his mixes on the night. Caroline performed two of some tracks she featured in  – Asem’s Piggaro and  Yaa Yaa’s  Life(Walaaahi) remix –  as the crowd cheered her on.

Kaakie mounted the stage around 09:50pm as she performed some of her tracks like Zuuchia, Body flame, Latex among others. She ended her
performance around 10:10pm. Kwabena Kwabena, the main art came on stage with his live band around 10:20pm. Odo menewoa, Meye, Dadie anoma, Aso, Royal lady among others were some of the tracks he performed. His adult music track featuring Samini was a-sing-along performance as the crowd virtually took over the show  and sung from the beginning of the song to the end. At the end of his performance, he thanked the crowd for their support and for the fact that they enjoyed his performance through and through.

The Volta Hall Week Artiste Night was sponsored by Club Shandy with  support from Samsung and the Halls’ JCR.
