Kwaw Kese has been in the news in the past few weeks, releasing a new single featuring Nigeria’s 9ice as well as a joint single with Sarkodie and D-Black. The rapper will take the buzz closer to his fans as he kicks off his neigbourhood music tour of 20 towns and cities in Ashiaman on Friday, November 4.
Dubbed the ‘Neighbourhood Jam’, Kwaw Kese hopes to use the tour to touch base with fans, and jam with them. The jam, powered by Mad Time Entertainment, will make its first stop at RENO in Ashaiman, and is expected to be backed by some of the country’s seasoned music acts like Ayigbe Edem, 2Toff, Dadie Opanka and a host of others.
The rapper comments: “I was living at Ashaiman when I came out with my first song ‘Oye Nonsense’ and I have never performed there. I feel like I owe the people of Ashaiman a performance, and that’s what wud happen on Friday. Fans should expect a show for Ashaiman!”
After Ashaiman, the train will hit Lapaz, Adabraka and Tema, all in the Greater Accra region. Other venues across the country include, Kasoa, Mankessim, Cape Coast and Agona Swedru, in the Central Region.
