Lasmid mourns Mohbad’s death, reveals unreleased collaboration

Ghanaian singer Lasmid has expressed his condolences over the untimely passing of Nigerian musician MohBad.

The beloved artist, a former member of Marlian Music, tragically passed away yesterday, leaving the music industry and fans in shock.

Lasmid and MohBad had the opportunity to collaborate on a song prior to the sad news of MohBad’s demise. In an emotional social media post, Lasmid shared his grief and paid tribute to his late colleague while hinting that their collaboration may never see the light of day.

“We created a banger and were eagerly waiting for the perfect moment to release it. Today, you’re no longer with us, Moh. This song might never come out now. My prayers go out to your family. Rest well, @iammohbad,” Lasmid expressed on Instagram.

The news of MohBad’s passing has reverberated throughout the music community, with many artists and fans expressing their shock and sadness. Mohbad was laid to rest in Ikorodu, Lagos state earlier today Wednesday 13th,2023.
