Let’s find ways to subsidize the cost of dialysis in Ghana – Stonebwoy to MOH

Award-winning dancehall musician, Livingstone Etse Satekla, popularly known as Stonebwoy has called on the Ministry of Health to subsidize the cost of dialysis in Ghana.

In a tweet sighted by Ameyaw Debrah Media, the ‘Therapy’ hitmaker expressed concern over the rising costs of this essential medical procedure. His protest follows reports that some patients have been stranded at Korle Bu Teaching Hospital in Accra due to the high expenses.

Stonebwoy urged the Ministry to consider the country’s economic conditions and rethink the price hike. He appealed for measures to ease the financial burden on patients requiring dialysis.

“It’s never easy… @mohgovgh Please look inside this increment… And let’s find ways to subsidize the cost of dialysis if possible,” he wrote on X.
