M.anifest is set to take over the United Arab Emirates today with the first live show of his recently released album, ‘Madina To The Universe’.

The show will take place on March 8, 2022, at 8:30 PM GST (4:30 PM in Ghana), at the Africa Hall in Sharjah, UAE.

M.anifest’s performance will be among a line-up of activities of “Global Ghana: Sites of Depature/Sites of Return”, an interdisciplinary scholarly conference organised by The African Institute, which will examine the ways in which Ghana has emerged over the last century as a focal point of diasporic engagement.

Released on November 18, 2021, ‘Madina To The Universe’ consists of 15 songs and features Ghana’s M3nsa and Moliy; Chicago-based rapper Vic Mensa; Nigeria’s Adekunle Gold, Patoranking and Ladipoe; and Tanzanian-born, London-based musical artist Tiggs da Author.

The album is a genre-blending afro-fusion in which M.anifest merges the Ghanaian jama soundcapes he grew up on, with his hip-hop foundations and modern afrobeat sensibilities to create a project that is one-of-one among the current global music landscape.
