Lawrence Nana Asiamah Hanson, a popular artiste manager and entertainment pundit, has opined that Deputy Minister for Tourism, Culture and Creative Arts, Mark Okraku Mantey does not
deserve to be a lawmaker in Ghana’s parliament as he has failed as a politician ever since he assumed office as a minister some four years ago.

According to him, the minister will contribute nothing to the Ayensuano constituency in the Eastern Region of Ghana if he wins the seat as the Member of Parliament on the ticket of the
governing New Patriotic Party (NPP).

The famous showbiz pundit made this statement during an interview on the United showbiz show on Saturday, March 25, 2023. He divulged that aside political talks, the politician, who
doubles as a music producer has done nothing significant for the creative sector after he took office some few years ago following his appointment by the President and therefore does not deserve
to be given the opportunity to become a legislator.

‘‘He has done nothing in office for four years in government so as MP, what is he going to do there? He is not worthy of that space because he has contributed nothing to our sector. The people of
his constituency should not even waste their time to vote for him because he will not bring about any change,’’ he emphasized.

Bulldog explained that he respects Mark Okraku Martey 100 percent as an individual but will score him 0 when it comes to governance.

He further made known that all Mr Okraku Mantey does is to give one excuse after the other and defend very ambitious promises.

“Last year for instance, his ministry came out to say they will build five amphitheaters by December and when it was it was pointed out to him that might be too ambitious, Mr Okraku Mantey was very defensive. Meanwhile, till today, we have not seen any structure yet”

Bull revealed that he has been disappointed by the minister and is, therefore, determined to campaign against him when he seeks the mandate of the people of Ayensuano.

“Infact, I will go there to campaign against him when he launches his campaign because he won’t bring about any change there. If the roads are bad, they will remain so, he will add nothing. What
has he done for the creative industry? He will do same as MP”, he explained.
