Miss Malaika 2012 heats up!

Last weekend’s audition for the hit reality TV beauty contest, Miss Malaika registered a record topping turnout in the 10 year history of the search.  Over 2000 young and beautiful ladies trooped to the studios of the GH One Entertainment TV for the Grand National auditions. This year’s auditions goes down as the biggest and most attended in the history of the competition. As at 8AM, the queues had begun forming with applicants going through the confirmation process to ensure they were successfully registered and eligible to partake in process .The preliminary rounds saw the candidates auditioned in groups by a select team who looked out for personality and elegance. The successful ladies moved on to the studios for the main auditions by the judges. The judges comprised media practitioner and a regular on the competition, William Asiedu, professional photographer Rodney Quarcoo and former Miss Malaika Queen, Miss Ama Nettey. The three were tasked with selecting 70 beauties for the next stage. This Saturday will witness the 70 selected ladies converging at the studios of the Gh One Entertainment TV for the semifinals stage of auditions, where 30 ladies would be selected for the next stage.  Miss Malaika 2012 is sponsored by Lux, UB Hair Relaxer, KIA by Rana Motors, Air Namibia and Legacy Hotels.
