Morgan Heritage Lead Singer Peter Morgan Dies Aged 46

Peter Anthony Morgan, the lead singer of the popular reggae band, Morgan Heritage has died aged 46.

In a statement, the family made known that the multiple award-winning singer breathed his last on Sunday, February 25, 2023, however not intimating on the cause of death.

The statement further described him as a husband, father, son and brother.

“We ask for your continued prayers as we go through this process. We also ask that you also respect our privacy during this time of healing,” read the statement in part.

Peter, well known as Peetah, formed Morgan Heritage with his siblings in 1994, and the band won a Grammy for best reggae album in 2016 for “Strictly Roots.”
