Ms. Ghana USA Scholarship & Beauty Pageant Reformation

New year, new resolution, new trajectory, new Queens and great reformation. Upon being on hiatus to restructure the organization and its mission, as well as due to an unforeseen pandemic the world was affected by, the Ms. Ghana USA is back and accepting applicants as at now till March 20^th.

We believe as an organization reshuffling and furlough is necessary, based on past instances or bleak moments. Therefore, although the pandemic caused a negative impact, it was more than necessary for us to take that time to re-evaluate the organization, certain decisions taken, and the mission to champion the cause of promoting unity, self-confidence and greatness amongst young women of Ghanaian descent in the diaspora.

Furthermore, this is an opportunity to reconcile and progress as a whole. Hence the re-structuring and re-evaluation is of a great necessity at this point in time.

For that reason, we urge and call upon several of our alums and past Queens to assist the pageant organization in any way, shape, or form- especially this year and subsequent years. You are now the experienced mouthpieces of the organization, and with your encounter or involvement in the pageant (prior and now,) it will heed much and affirming conviction for prospective young women and/or delegates to join. Additionally, your respective brands are now potent as ever, with much following and with that serving as another rationale, we know that will be a motivation for others as well.

Our goal is to persistently bring amazing women to the forefront; supporting them as they work to achieve their individual humanitarian goals and connect with their cultural roots, while making an impact in the society. With all hands-on board, and as a refined organization, we are hopeful this will set a pragmatic and productive tone for us all. Join us virtually on Sunday, March 20^th, 2022, at 5:00 p.m. for a thorough informational session for one to ask any questions or share any concerns they might have regarding the pageant or organization.

The 2022 Pageant slated for this year June in the nation’s capital- Washington DC has much anticipated- from its theme to activities and the main coronation event. Winners prize package sponsored by Adansi Travels and Labadi Beach Hotelconsists of an all- expense paid trip to be part of Conquer Ghana December Tour during the festivity season. Additionally, a trip to Dubai, media and special events appearance, leverage to launch own project platform, among other prizes. Moreover, apart from winner working on her personal project, she will be the ambassador for Kaya Childcare– an organization built on respect and community, that provides quality early childhood education to the children of Kayayei in Accra- Ghana and beyond. We believe every child, irrespective of their background deserves a good foundation for education. Therefore, Kaya childcare works hand-in-hand with the Kayayoo mothers in their effort to raise a child while living on inconducive financial means. This is a foundation and project adopted by the Ms. Ghana USA brand and organization along with the Queen who emerges as the winner, to ensure the wellbeing of children from such backgrounds bac home in Ghana.
