The comedian, who spoke up strongly against the SARS attacks in Nigeria about two years ago, said  “Part of this pressure is from the society. When something happens you now put pressure on people that don’t want to say anything. Everybody is putting pressure on celebrities because they are celebrities. They don’t have to say anything. You know why? Are you holding doctors to the same responsibility? Are you holding bankers? Are you holding footballers? So because these people are in entertainment and they are popular everybody would say ‘you, you are just quiet. Then people will say things they are not supposed to say.”

Another comedian, Forever also called on Showmax Nigeria to create shows for Nigerian stand-up comedians that would help showcase their talents to the world as Netflix does with many top comedians.
