Musical Unity: Rocky Dawuni Encourages Artistes to Work Together, Not Against Each Other

Published

on

Ghanaian Reggae luminary, Rocky Dawuni has called on fellow musicians to steer clear of conflict and rivalry within the industry.

Speaking in an interview with 3Xtra’s Kwaku King, the renowned crooner and songwriter stressed the importance of unity and collaboration among artists while denouncing the trend of engaging in verbal spats and insults, whether in song lyrics or on social media.

The ‘Beat of Zion’ hitmaker argued that using art as a tool for division undermines its greater purpose and advocated for a focus on constructive collaboration instead.

“I don’t believe that artists should resort to attacking each other. Instead, we should strive to work together to build a solid, peace-driven environment. A toxic atmosphere only fosters negativity,” he remarked.
