My Admiration For Kofi Kinaata’s Craft Motivated Me To Do Music- Lasmid

Ghanaian musician, Lasmid Owusu Nathaniel, otherwise known as Lasmid, has revealed that the craft of his colleague musician, Kofi Kinaata, motivated him to venture into music.

According to the ‘Running’ Hitmaker, he has always been a fan of the ‘Susuka’ singer as well as popular dancehall artist, Stonebwoy and Sarkodie.

Lasmid in a candid interview with the host of Onua Fm’s Adwuma Adwuma Felicia Osei, revealed that Kinaata  left an indelible mark on him and other music enthusiasts.

Touching on how he got into the music space, the singer, asserted  that Kofi Kinaata’s artistry became a guiding light that emboldened him to chase his musical dreams.

“I really like Kofi Kinaata and I like Stonebwoy too. They all have different vibes and I feel all of them. Before I came into the music industry, I looked up to Kofi Kinaata. He motivated me to do music.”

Lasmid further disclosed that he released a song titled ‘OdO Brass Band’ in 2019 featuring Kofi Kinaata due to the love he has for him. “I even have a song with him. I did my first song with him, ‘Odo Brass Band.’ It’s from 2019,” he said.
