Lasmid wins MTN Hitmaker Season 8

Last night, MTN Hitmaker Season 8 came to an end as Lasmid emerged the “new ruler of the mic”.

Four finalists in the MTN Hitmaker season 8 battled it out on stage for the ultimate title as well as the mouth-watering cash prize of GHC 120,000.00 the Fantasy Dome, Trade Fair La, Accra on Saturday, 14 December 2019.
The finalists – Kofi Pages, Nessa, Lasmid and Alibaba set themselves apart from the final 12 with exceptional performances throughout the different stages of the competition to emerge as the final four.

The MTN Hitmaker season 8 finals was exciting and had performance from some past contestants of competition like Kidi, Krymi, Mr. Drew and OV.

The end of the show, Nessa came in at the fourth place position, Alibaba in third place and Kofi Pages took the spot for the second place.

Lasmid who was adjudged the overall winner and takes over from last year’s winner OV took home the grand price of a GHC 120,000.00 recording deal.
