My stripped 2019 VGMA ‘Reggae/Dancehall Artiste of the Year’ award is still in my house – Stonebwoy
According to Ghanaian dancehall act, Livingstone Etse Satekla known popularly as Stonebwoy, his infamous 2019 VGMA ‘Reggae/Dancehall Artiste of the Year’ award is still in his possession a year after organizers of the event stripped him of the award and banned him indefinitely from the awards scheme.
Speaking on UTV’s ‘United Showbiz’, the ‘SOBOLO’ hitmaker explained that although Charterhouse and the Board of the VGMA stripped him of the ‘Reggae/Dancehall Artiste of the Year’ and ‘Best Collaboration of the Year’ awards he won at the 2019 Vodafone Ghana Music Awards, the awards are still with him at home.
Asked when he will return the award as instructed by Charterhouse, Stonebwoy says “I am not sure, it is good here with me”.
