Eric Frempong Amponsah, a 26 year Senior Business Development Executive and 23 year old Naa Ayeley Komey last night emerged  top winners in the third season of ‘The Challenge’ educational reality TV show.

They both won for themselves full scholarships for post graduate studies in two of the top universities in the United Kingdom worth £70,000 to include a fully paid accommodation in an international students’ hostel and a monthly living allowance.

Eric will pursue a Master’s programme in Marketing Communication at the University of Westminster whiles Naa will be going to the Robert Gordon University in Aberdeen where she will study a Master’s degree in International Business.

It was a battle of intellect, eloquence, mental readiness and uncontrollable excitement when the five finalists of this year’s competition clashed at the grand finale held at the College of Physicians and Surgeons last night.

There was a pack of fun and excitement for the show attendees with the night witnessing some amazing performances. First, it was a well-crafted poem recital from the gifted poet and spoken word artiste YOM Nfojoh. KAKI, of Stars of the Future Season V fame was on hand to entertain the crowd before Stay J who for the first time performed “Yenko Nkoaa” with the song owner Edwoji much to the excitement of the crowd with entire auditorium on its feet.

The other contestants; Elsie Attieku-Nuku, Eric Kwame Akomanyi and Sefakor Agbesi gave a good account of themselves with their intellectually stimulating sessions. It was keenly contested night as the finalists pushed the contest to each other.

Eric and Naa could not hide their excitement at their triumph and expressed their gratitude to everyone who had contributed in diverse ways to make their dream of winning The Challenge season three a reality.  They further lauded the British Council, TIGO, Gh-One Entertainment TV and all other sponsors including SIC, Shell, IPMC, ProCredit, 3E Quantum, Gsocialize.com, GTV, e.TV and Homebase TV for supporting such a worthy course.
