Actor and entrepreneur, John Dumelo is taking his political ambition to higher heights as he has shared with his followers how the Cedi can be arrested. Call him the next “Bawumia”.

In a long post on Instagram this morning, John wrote:

“Bro, trade deficit is an economic measure of international trade in which a country’s imports exceeds its exports. A trade deficit represents an outflow of domestic currency to foreign markets. It is also referred to as a negative balance of trade (BOT). One of the long term solutions to solving our cedi depreciation is by exporting more than we import. Which will mean shifting Ghana towards a manufacturing country. For example, we export our raw materials for $1 and import the finished product for $10. We need start adding value to our raw materials so we export the finished produce. @kwameaplus when that happens we will attain a trade surplus which is an economic measure of a positive balance of trade. So it’s time I start exporting my packaged snails, U dey barb?”

Mr Dumelo has made his political ambitions clear. He picked up forms to contest primaries in the Ayawaso West Wuogon constituency on the ticket of National Democratic Congress (NDC).

He however dropped out of the race for reasons known to just him.
