Owuraku Ampofo joins Media General after resigning from Joy Sports
The transfer window within the Ghanaian media landscape is still in full effect as Sport Journalist, Owuraku Ampofo has joined Media General’s ‘3Sports’ team from Multimedia Group Limited’s ‘Joy Sports’ team. Owuraku Ampofo announced his resignation as an employee of Joy Sports on September 30, 2022, after joining the media company in 2017.

In his time with Multimedia Group Limited, the popular sports journalist was the host of Prime Sport on JoyPrime and other sports shows on JoyNews.
Announcing his employment on social media, management of Media General shared a flyer of his welcome.
“Welcome to the Media General Family, we are excited to have you.” they wrote.
