Parts of Medikal’s public statements are a great departure from truth – Fella Makafui
Ghanaian actress and entrepreneur, Fella Makafui, has publicly expressed her distress over recent comments made by her ‘ex-husband’, Samuel Adu Frimpong, popularly know as Medikal.
In a candid statement sighted by Ameyaw Debrah Media, the actress, who recently premiered her first movie dubbed ‘Resonance’, revealed that Medikal’s remarks about their failed marriage and her business ventures have caused her and her entire family significant emotional pain.
The popular couple, who have often been in the public eye, seem to be facing a turbulent phase in their relationship. Fella highlighted that the public nature of Medikal’s statements has compounded her hurt, as it not only affects her personally but also has implications for her professional life.
She emphasized that the comments have created unnecessary scrutiny and speculation about her businesses, potentially impacting their reputation and success.
Fella’s statement comes after Medikal, in series of post and videos sparked controversy on social media by revealing details about his strained relationship with his baby mama, Fella Makafui. He disclosed that despite living under the same roof, they have not been intimate for almost a year and live in separate rooms.
He explained that a nanny takes care of their daughter and expressed frustration over Fella involving the public and calling the police on him instead of resolving their issues privately.
In another tweet accompanied by a video, Medikal shared that Fella called the cops on him after he asked her cousin, who had been living with them for over two years, to move out. He stated that her cousin, Bless, recorded the incident, prompting him to make the situation public. He also revealed being a victim of domestic abuse.
However, Fella in her statement released on Saturday, May 18, 2024 made known that part Medikal’s accusations are a great departure from truth and have caused her pain.
She further noted that she has decided to resort to only lawful and appropriate forum to address her grievances.
The actress also disclosed that she has initiated a legal process which she believes will ensure she and her daughter are safe, as well as her co-parenting with her ex-husband are properly streamlined.
