All 5 nominees made an appearance in stylish Vlisco clothing by top Ghanaian designers as follows: Shirley Frimpong in Renee Q, Abena Amoah in Maksi, Constance Swaniker in Duaba Serwa, Mawuena Trebarh in Christie Brown, Ellen Hagan in Mina Evans. The public will vote for the woman who inspires them the most and stand a chance to be winners themselves, with prizes such as VIP tickets to the BE YOUR DREAM award night and tailor-made Vlisco dresses. The celebrations do not end there. The whole month of March, everybody is invited to vote for the candidate that inspired them most at any Vlisco shop, or online at www.beyourdream.vlisco.com Voting starts on February 18th. Apart from encouraging women to dream, we also want to empower them to unleash their potential. Imaginative female creative fashion professionals (tailors, designers, stylists) can send in their business plan for the VLISCO FASHION DREAM FUND, and win the funding to realize it. Candidates can get more information on beyourdream.vlisco.com. The winners will be selected by a Vlisco jury. Three winners throughout West and Central Africa will respectively win 10,000, 7,000 or 5,000 US Dollars and Vlisco will support them with business advice to help them out. The much anticipated Ghana Comedy Awards scheme has officially announced the Nominees for the 2024 edition which begins the new journey after the official split of the Awards from its old joint name, Comedy & Poetry Awards.

The Scheme is currently the most talked about project as it throws light on celebrating the unique creativity of Comedians who work tirelessly, entertaining us with their unique humoric talents in Ghana.
