Politics is a calling- John Dumelo
Ghanaian actor and Entrepreneur, John Dumelo has revealed that going into politics is not merely a decision, but a calling.
According to the actor turned politician, work as a politician is demanding and needs the attention of someone who was divinely called.
“Politics is a calling, you have to be called before you can venture. It has a lot of demands and it’s an experience no one gives you,” he said in a recent interview with Nana Quasi-Wusu (PM) on Y 97.9 FM during the ‘Dryve of your Lyfe’ show.
According to John, who contested the parliamentary seat of the Ayawaso West Wuogon constituency on the ticket of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the 2020 general elections stated that one of the things that got him to accept the ‘calling’ into politics is his desire to make life better for Ghanians.
“I think about the people, Ghana, and what to do to make the people feel better,” John added.
