Samini invites colleagues who stuck their noses out for the NPP to have a dialogue with the President
Award-winning Reggae/Dancehall artist, Samini, has requested for his colleagues in the entertainment industry who proudly supported the New Patriotic Party’s (NPP) campaign to return to power to have a sit-down talk with the President.
According to Samini, he and other celebrities who “stuck” their necks out to campaign for the NPP need an audience with the President to inform him about the hardships Ghanaians are currently facing.
“I think it is time those of us who stuck our noses out for the president @NAkufoAddo to visit him and have a dialogue with him and tell him things aren’t going well,” Samini said during a Twitter Space on June 14.
Samini is one of the many well-known faces who campaigned for the NPP and H. E. Nana Akufo-Addo to return to power during the 2020 elections.
Samini was present at NPP rallies and also composed the campaign song titled “Kpoyaka” for the party.
Following the current economic situation of the country, Samini has asked fellow NPP supporters to request an audience with the President and inform him of the hardships the average Ghanaian is facing.
“I think it will make sense to have an audience with the President to be able to let him hear what is on the ground and what is actually happening on the ground,” he stated.
