<![CDATA[2012 BET Award co-winner for ‘Best African Act’ , Sarkodie was featured in the 2012 edition of the acclaimed BET Awards Cypher. Sarkodie was profiled alongside 42 US based rappers including top gun MCs like Snoop Dogg (Lion), DMX, T.I, and Talib Kweli. Others include Eve, Xzibit, E40 and Wu-tang veteran RZA. Sarkodie is the only African act that makes the list.
The award show which was taped on Saturday night September in Atlanta, USA will be aired in the US on October 9, 8P/7C and on BET Intl (Europe & Africa) on October 13 at 8pm BST. Six of the cyphers will be premiered during the awards show. The remaining three will be shown exclusively on BET.com
