So You Think You Can Dance Season 9, Sinbad and more on DStv this August!

It’s a new month already and as always, DStv audiences across Africa can expect some exciting television viewing, here is a quick highlight of August on DStv: So You Think You Can Dance (Season 9): The wait is nearly over! So You Think You Can Dance, the Emmy-nominated hit dance competition series, returns for a ninth and will see one dancer live his or her dream of becoming America’s favourite dancer. The show returns with host Cat Deeley and resident judges Nigel Lythgoe and Mary Murphy. Tune in from Tuesday 7 August at 20:30 CAT West and 18:30 CAT East.   Sinbad (Premiere): Get ready for adventure and non-stop drama! When street rat Sinbad accidentally kills Lord Akbari’s son, Akbari kills Sinbad’s brother in revenge. Sinbad escapes, but his grandmother Safia places a curse on him that until he atones for his sins he can’t stay on dry land for more than 24 hours. Sinbad stows away on the Providence, but magical sea creatures attack and all on board die except for Sinbad; Anwar, the ship’s doctor; Gunnar, a Norse trader; Nala, a noblewoman on the run; Rina, a thief and the ship’s Cook.
